Well, well, well, wasn’t that fun! I hope everyone is celebrating the end of a neck-snapping 2015 whiplash like I am. I have a very creative, wild, vivid and adventurous imagination, but even, I, the author of Wango Tango and other such outrageous global lovesongs, could never have predicted a series of dazzling events quite like the flurry that was the year of our Lord, 2015.
And you thought I was wild!

Man does not live by bread alone, so they say, and though we gather here at deeranddeerhunting.com NugeBlogs to escape myriad circumstances in life, it must be stated that man does not live by venison alone, either.
Someone once said we don’t need to get political when writing about our beloved deerhunting lifestyle, but I couldn’t disagree more.
Afterall, what could be more political in this bizzarro world of mindless political correctness than the self-evident scientific truth of deerhunting in America?
Though crazy late in the game, it is critical that we remind ourselves how our forefathers took their lives into their own hands at great risk to escape the tyranny hell of punk kings. They knew damn well that the king didn’t own the deer, they knew damn well that we the people owned the deer.
Now after all these wild years later there remains in our society a braindead, scamming, lunatic fringe that maniacally clings to the insane nonsense that animals have rights. That we allow these freaks to actually steer wildlife policy may be the most embarrassing indictment of political correctness there is.

Surely we the people who know better must exercise our “we the people” political duties to combat such dangerous anti-nature and anti-American deceit at every opportunity.
Sadly I must remind Americans that pure American politics is when we the people engage in this sacred experiment in self-government and demand self-evident truth based accountability from our elected employees.
Got that?
When there are still nine states that deny our hunting rights on Sunday, clearly we still have a long way to go.
When the number one popular broadhead on earth is still banned in a couple of states, you know we have failed.
When we are required to case our guns and bows in so many states, we still have serious work cut out for us.
When some states continue to ban baiting in total denial of this legal method in so many other states, we must admit that dishonesty still runs amok in many game departments.
When dishonest bureaucrats continue to hammer their anti-science scam about Chronic Wasting Disease, it’s rather obvious that too many hunters remain sound asleep and irresponsibly disconnected.
When illuminated arrow nocks are still banned in any state, you know that goofiness prevails.
That it is legal and essential to harvest surplus polar bears in Canada but successful hunters are still not allowed to bring their hard-earned trophy home, you can be sure that our hunting organizations have failed miserably.

When California still outlaws cougar hunting but wastes millions of dollars compensating livestock and pet owners for lion kills, then bury this magnificent animal in a hole in the ground after killing it with tax dollars, you know damn well insanity prevails.
When tax dollars are wasted hiring so called “sharpshooters” in the number one bowhunting state in the nation to slaughter surplus deer that belong to we the people of Michigan, you know that crazies run wild in the DNR.
As I wrap up a most wonderful 2015 of killer music and glorious deercamps with loving family and friends, I am compelled to never lose sight of the bad and the ugly, so as to maximize and enjoy the unlimited good that is available to us here in the United States of America.
With Christmas cheer still ringing as we celebrate New Year’s Eve, here’s hoping all the deerhunters of the world and their families and friends are all members of the National Rifle Association as Job One for freedom and hunter’s rights.
With many more weeks of incredible deerhunting still throttling on through the months of January and February in some states, here’s wishing all of you still at it much goodluck and Godspeed, not just in your deerhunting dreams, but in all your American Dreams and beyond.
Aim small, miss small, raise maximum we the people hell everyday, and may we all unite to wipe out as much bad and ugly in 2016 as possible so it can be the best year of good in our lives.
As goes deerhunting freedom, goes American freedom. And freedom is not free. Let 2016 be the year for freedom fighters to let freedom ring.
