Alan Clemons’ Pick of the Day: Stealth Cam G42 NG

Whether you run game cameras year-round or at very specific times, the bottom line is you want a camera that works, provides great images and video, and will last through weather changes in summer or winter.

“On property where I hunt, game cameras never had been used until a couple of years ago when I put out three cameras in different locations,” said Deer & Deer Hunting Online Editor Alan Clemons. “With the help of a little Heartland Whitetail Institute attractant in one location and Wildlife Research Magnum Scrape Dripper in another, I was able to get images of deer, small game and even a bobcat that the landowner never had seen before.

“This year I’ve added the Stealth Cam G42 NG No Glo to the mix in a fourth area I believe deer use as a travel route. Plus, it’s on a property line and I want to double-check about any trespassers. The Stealth Cam G42 has a load of options and it’s very easy to use. In fact, if you want to put in batteries and an SD card, strap it on a tree and turn it on, that’s all you have to do and you’ll get images immediately. I’ve had great success with my other Stealth Cam, so I’m looking forward to seeing more wildlife this season.”

Game cameras are valuable tools to help you scout, manage, hunt more successfully and put more deer in your freezer.”
