COOL VIDEO: BOW RISER LIFTS A TRUCK!

Have you ever wondered how tough your compound bow is or if the riser can take a few whacks or dings?

We usually treat our bows with kid gloves, or maybe winter fleece gloves, for several reasons. We don’t want to damage the strings, cams or accessories, of course, but we also don’t want to harm something that probably costs between $500 and $1,100. Bows are tools we use for hunting but they’re not Louisville Sluggers.

This video from G5 Prime is pretty outstanding, though. They take one of their Prime compound bow risers forged from 7000 Series aluminum and did a little redneck testing with a 2,900-pound truck, a giant log and … well, just watch the video. It’s pretty cool.
