Florida isn’t on the list of many folks’ “must hunt” states for whitetail deer, although the hunting there can be fun and challenging.
Swamps, palmettos, black bears and panthers, a slice of the Old South … it’s all there and a bit different. Certainly nothing like the other areas of the country. But that’s what makes deer hunting fun, and everyone who hunts whitetails and has a passion for them makes the most of what the have.
