Volunteers On Moose Patrol Doing Good Work

If you think hitting a deer is tough, consider the possibility of whacking a moose with your vehicle.

In Alaska.

Fortunately, the Alaska Moose Federation has a group of volunteers who gather at all hours of the day meat from road-kill moose and delivers it to the needy. Considering the size of the animal and the weather conditions, that’s a volunteer effort every deer hunter or anyone can appreciate and be proud of.
